about me

:: creative designer ::

I am passionate about art, design, fashion, music and reading. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts
majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Advertising at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2008.

Since November 07, I have been working for Laila, a fashion retailer, as their Lead Creative on a contract basis. I have been managing everything creative from print to web design for them. This has included photographing stock to uploading them to websites, through to catalogues, stationery, trade-show flyers
and advertisements.

During 2009 I worked at Pro-Ma Systems, working on a full-time basis as a web designer. I designed multiple e-newsletters and also maintained multiple corporate websites through their content
management system.

Also during my study I held another part-time position at PE Visual, a local audio visual company, mainly involves transferring film to DVD. This process includes capturing and editing the film, adding titles, sound, editing the sound and then authoring, which includes the design of menus, CD labels and covers.

I am extremely passionate about design, especially typography, and dedicated to producing quality work in both print and web environments. I have a willingness to learn, and thrive off being in a supportive team environment. I am always seeking new ways to improve and evolve through personal and professional development.
